Motorola Defy Plus is Official – runs Gingerbread and can survive some abuse !

The rumoured Motorola Defy+ which is the successor to the original Defy is finally official close on the heels of the Google to acquire Motorola Mobility announcement . The Defy Plus retains the glory of it’s ancestor and is Water Resistant, Scratch Resistant and Dust Proof. We are not totally sure what extent of abuse this phone can handle. Our very own Jon had the pleasure of dipping the the old Defy in a glass of water and it did function properly afterwards. In terms of specs it is powered by a 1GHz CPU and runs on Android 2.3 and runs on a 1700 mAh battery. The 3.7 inch display is made of scratch resistant Gorilla Glass. You can find the full specs below. As you can see there are minor improvements in terms of specs but we wish Motorola promoted this phone in a better way at least in countries where it rains a lot !
