Infinix SMART 8 with 6.6″ 90Hz display, 50MP camera launched in India for Rs. 7499

Infinix has launched SMART 8, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the SMART series in India, as it had promised. The phone has a 6.6-inch HD+ display, comes with a punch-hole that houses an 8MP camera with LED flash and has 90Hz refresh rate, which is first in the segment, says the company.

This has a Helio G36 SoC, comes with 4GB of RAM with 4GB of virtual RAM, 64GB storage. The phone has a 50 MP rear camera along with an AI lens. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which is first in the segment, says the company.

The Smart 8 comes with timber texture finish on the back, and the Magic Ring offers Face Unlock, Background Call, Charging Animation, Charge Completion Reminder, and Low Battery Reminder. It packs a 5000mAh battery and has USB Type-C charging.

Pricing and availability

The Infinix Smart 8 comes in Timber Black, Shinny Gold, Galaxy White and Rainbow Blue colours, and will be available from Flipkart starting from January 15th at Rs. 7,499. There is a 10% discount on ICICI Bank and Bank of Baroda cards for a limited period, so the effective priced is Rs. 6,749.
