Xiaomi 14 Pro with 6.73″ 2K 1-120Hz LTPO OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 50MP variable aperture camera, IP68 ratings announced

Along with the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi also introduced the top-end Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone at an event in China. The phone features a 6.78-inch 2K C8 OLED LTPO screen co-developed by Xiaomi and CSOT, with peak brightness of 3000 nits, 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, has support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It also offers, 1920Hz PWM dimming.

The new All Around Liquid Display curves slightly down on all four sides and corners with consistent curvature, retaining the visual aesthetic of a flat screen while providing the smooth feel of a curved edge.

All Around Liquid Display resolves issues found in traditional curved screens, such as screen distortion, color inaccuracies, accidental touches, and reliability concerns, says the company. From specific angles, it gives the impression that content is suspended above the screen, offering an entirely new visual and tactile experience.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and has Circular cold pump cooling system Vapor-liquid separation design, one-way circulation structure, promising 3 times the performance of traditional VC.

The phone has triple rear cameras with a 50MP 1/1.31″ 1.2μm large sensor, f/1.42 ~ f/4 variable aperture for excellent background blur and also capture every detail clearly. You can also manually adjust the aperture value with a 1/3 EV increment for finer exposure control. It has a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 3.2X telephoto camera, same as the Xiaomi 14, all with Leica Summilux lens.

The phone has a natural haptic feedback engine jointly developed with Tsinghua University, along with a 1016 CyberEngine motor.

It has a 4880mAh battery, 120W wired charging that can charge up to 100% in 18 minutes, 50W wireless charging for 100% charge in 40 minutes and 10W reverse wireless charging. There is two Xiaomi Surge P2 charging chipsets and one Xiaomi Surge G1 battery management chipset. The phone also has IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.
