Android 2.3.4 leaked for Samsung galaxy S2

It looks like Samsung is on a roll and giving out updates for their devices on a really fast pace. This time it’s an update for the popular Samsung Galaxy S 2 which has been selling like hot cakes, even though it has not been released in the U.S yet. Good news for the SGS2 users, Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) was leaked for their device bringing the latest gtalk with video calling. Apart from the latest gTalk, the new update will also include better power management which is said to decrease the battery consumption.

Apart from these above mentioned features, this update will also carry with it some bug fixes, thought the users who have already updated the leaked ROM are saying that the lag time while waking the phone still exists and the low-bit-depth color banding issue still exists. The leaked ROM is already available for you to flash, but it will not take much time for Samsung to give out the update via KIES, so for all those people who don’t feel like flashing a leaked ROM should be patient and wait. The version of the new update is : XXKG1. If you are rooted and have ClockworkMod recovery installed then you can follow the instructions over here to update your device to Android 2.3.4 using Odin.
