After the launch of SMART 7 in February, the company has confirmed the launch of SMART 7 HD in India on April 28th. The lite version of the phone will retain the 6.6-inch HD+ screen, 4 GB RAM (including 2 GB of virtual RAM) and 64GB storage, but pack a smaller 5000mAh battery compared to 6000mAh in the SMART 7.
The image shows a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner near the camera module. The phone will have a wave pattern design coated with Silver-ion spray, which has a 99% antibacterial rate on the back, similar to the Smart 7.
The Infinix Smart 7 HD will come with a 8MP rear camera along with an AI lens and a 5MP front camera. It will retain the same 1.6GHz Octa-Core Unisoc SC9863A SoC from the Smart 7.
The Infinix SMART 7 was launched at Rs. 7299, so the SMART 7 HD should be cheaper, making it one of the strong contenders in the price segment.
