Apple India retail stores to open in Mumbai on April 18, Delhi on April 20


After teasers, Apple has confirmed that it will open the first retail stores in India – Apple BKC in Mumbai on April 18th, and Apple Saket in Delhi on April 20th.

Apple also revealed the barricade for Apple Saket that features a unique design that takes inspiration from Delhi’s many gates, each signifying a new chapter to the city’s storied past. It also has a colourful artwork that celebrates Apple’s second store in India.

Today at Apple series – Mumbai Rising

In celebration of the first Apple Store opening in India, Apple BKC announced a special Today at Apple series — “Mumbai Rising” — running from opening day, April 18th through the summer.

This brings visitors, local artists, and creatives together, these sessions will offer hands-on activities with Apple’s products and services that celebrate the local community and culture in Mumbai, said Apple.

Apple Saket Wallpaper and Playlist

Similar to what it did for Apple BKC, Apple has also released new wallpaper, and specially curated playlists on Apple Music for Apple Saket.

Launch date and time

Apple BKC at Jio World Drive Mall in Mumbai opens on Tuesday, April 18, at 11 a.m. IST, and Apple Saket at Select Citywalk in Delhi will open on Thursday, April 20 at 10 a.m. IST.
