Xiaomi just introduced the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, the company’s latest flagship smartphones for the global markets. The Xiaomi 13 features a 6.36-inch FHD+ flexible E6 AMOLED flat screen with peak brightness of 1900 nits, 120Hz refresh rate, 1.61mm ultra-narrow bezels and 93.3% screen-to-body ratio.
The Pro model has a 6.78-inch 2K flexible E6 Samsung AMOLED LTPO screen with peak brightness of 1900 nits, 120Hz refresh rate, has support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It also offers, 1920Hz PWM dimming. The phones are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with a large VC liquid cooling area.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro has triple 50MP rear cameras with the main camera featuring a 1″ ultra-large Sony IMX989 sensor, Leica optics, 8 aspherical lenses, ALD ultra-low reflectance coating, lens edge ink coating, a new cyclic olefin material, and a spin-coated process IR filter to achieve the same optical quality as Xiaomi 12S Ultra. There is also support HyperOIS.
The new Leica 75mm focal length 75mm telephoto features a floating focus lens design that takes reference from the optical path design of SLR lenses and innovatively divides the six lenses into two groups, the rear three of which have a strong focusing ability and could float inside the lens group when focusing, thus achieving a large focusing range of 10cm to infinity within a limited travel distance, letting users shoot original 75mm telephoto and portraits, but also the super close-ups. There is also a 115° ultra-wide camera.
The Xiaomi 13 has a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor, 12MP ultra-wide camera and a new 10MP 3.2X telephoto camera, all with Leica optics. The phones have IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a 3D bio-ceramic back and the Xiaomi 13 has a 2.5D glass back.
The Xiaomi 13 has a 4500mAh battery, 67W wired charging and the Pro model has a 4,820mAh battery with supports 120W wired charging. Both the phones have 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Pricing and availability
The Xiaomi 13 comes in Black, White and Flora Green colours and is priced starting at 999 Euros (US$ 1,056 / Rs. 87,585.31 approx.).
The Xiaomi 13 Pro comes in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White colours and is priced starting at 1,299 Euros (US$ 1373 / Rs. 1,13,890 approx.). The phones will be available starting March 8, 2023 via Xiaomi official channels globally, said the company.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro will also launch in India, and Xiaomi India, says users to stay tuned till February 28th, so we should know the price in a couple of days. The company already confirmed that it will also be sold on Amazon.in, in addition to mi.com and offline stores.
