Following last week’s update, WhatsApp rolled out communities, in-chat polls, and 32-person video calling. According to WABeta, the firm is working on WhatsApp for tablets and for the business edition, an in-app banner shows up when opening WhatsApp Business—a great way to bring in new customers!
WhatsApp for Tablet
It appears like WhatsApp intends to unveil “WhatsApp for Tablet” to a certain group of beta testers in a future app update. As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp intends to launch “WhatsApp for tablet” with the help of a brand-new in-app banner that will become available in a subsequent update of the app.
This banner will let people know that there is a version of WhatsApp for tablets that is in beta testing and can be downloaded from the WhatsApp website.
Bring in new customers banner: WhatsApp Business Beta

As shown in this screenshot above, the new WhatsApp Business in-app banner offers businesses the opportunity to link their accounts to Facebook or Instagram to find new customers. Since last year, businesses can advertise on these networks to gain new followers, who can then start a WhatsApp chat with the business. Remember, WhatsApp lets businesses track their ads.
As far as the availability of the above two features is concerned, “WhatsApp for tablets” is still under development, and it will probably be a while before users can access them. And the new in-app banner to suggest businesses a way to bring in new customers is rolling out to limited beta testers on the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.24.8 and the WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.23.0.70 (Business).
