Google already confirmed that it will introduce the new Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and the Pixel Watch on October 6th. Now a new rumour has surfaced on a German site that claims to reveal the the sale date of these devices. Another report reveals the price of the Pixel Watch.
Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel Watch sale date?
After the launch event on October 6th, Google is said to sell the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro phones through the Google Store and its partners from October 18th, which is after 12 days of the launch.
The Pixel Watch is said to go on sale only on November 4th, which is almost a month after the launch.
The report says that there might be delays or short-term changes in the sale dates, depending on the Google partners.
Google Pixel Watch price?
Google Pixel Watch will be the company’s first watch running WearOS and integration of Fitbit’s health and fitness features. According to 9to5Google’s sources, the smartwatch will start at $349.99 (Rs. 27,915 approx.).
This is almost the same as the price of base Galaxy Watch5 40mm Bluetooth model in India, but it costs $280 in the US. However, the Apple Watch SE starts at $249 and the Apple Watch Series 8 starts at $399 in the US. The Watch SE itself starts at Rs. 29,900 in India.
The Pixel Watch is said to come in 3 colours – Black case with Obsidian band and Silver case with Chalk, and Gold case with Hazel bands for the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi only model. The LTE model is expected to get a Silver case with Charcoal band model while retaining the Black and Gold versions.
It is still not clear if Google is planning to launch the Pixel 7 series or the Pixel Watch in India. We should know more details about the devices before they go offline next month.
