vivo Pad with 11″ 2.5K 120Hz display, Dolby Vision, Snapdragon 870, quad speakers, Dolby Atmos, 8040mAh battery announced


Along with the vivo X Note and X Fold, vivo also introduced the vivo Pad, the company’s first tablet, as it had announced. It has an 11-inch 2.5K LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 and Dolby Vision and is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with 8GB of RAM.

The tablet has an aluminum body that is just 6.55mm thick. There is a 13MP main camera and 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. There is an 8MP selfie camera on the front, and a ToF module. The vivo Pad has built-in four-channel Dolby Atmos speakers with an amplitude of 0.7mm, and can automatically adjust the left and right stereo according to the screen orientation.

The stylus also has an aluminum alloy body and supports 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. It used 2 hours a day, the battery life can last a whole year, says the company.

The tablet can also attach an external magnetic keyboard. The bracket on the back a be adjusted at any angle between 0 degrees and 155 degrees. The 64-key keyboard has a 1.3mm key travel, and there is a 5,736mm² glass touchpad. The vivo Pad runs OriginOS HD with an improved UI and interactive design for large screens.

Pricing and availability

The vivo Pad comes in Blue and Black colours, is priced at 2299 yuan (US$ 360 / Rs. 27,385 approx.) for 128GB model and the 256GB model costs 2899 yuan (US$ 455 / Rs. 34,530 approx.). The stylus and keyboard are priced at  349 yuan (US$ 54.7 / Rs. 4,155 approx.) and 599 yuan (US$ 94 / Rs. 7,135 approx.) respectively, and there is a 50 yuan discount when you buy them together with the tablet.
