Samsung has started removing chargers even from its mid-range phones recently, so this doesn’t come with a charger in the box.

The M33 5G has a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Infinity-V Super LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, compared to HD+ screen in the predecessor. Since the screen has up to 800 nits brightness, it is bright even in outdoors. The Galaxy M33 5G is powered by the latest Exynos 1280 5nm SoC with 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4x of RAM with up to 8GB of additional virtual RAM with RAM Plus feature, and it has 128GB storage. The performance is good for daily usage, but the gaming performance is not on par with the Snapdragon 778G that is present in the Galaxy M52 5G.

It has support for 5G bands. The phone runs Android 12 with One UI 4 on top. Samsung has promised 2 OS updates and 4 years of security updates for the phone. It also has Samsung Pay with NFC, Knox security and Secure Folder.

Inside the V-shaped notch, there is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. The earpiece grill is on the top edge. The phone has a proximity sensor, but it misses the ambient light sensor, so it uses the front camera for auto brightness adjustment. There is a small chin below the screen.

Coming to the button placements, the power button that includes the fingerprint sensor and the volume rockers are present on the right side. The dedicated dual SIM + microSD slot is present on the left side. The 3.5mm audio jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C port and the loudspeaker grill are on the bottom. The secondary microphone is on the top.

Since the sides have a plastic frame with a glossy finish, they attract fingerprints easily. Even though it lacks stereo speakers, it comes with Dolby Atmos, but it only works with when you connect a wired or wireless earbuds.

The phone has a quad camera arrangement that includes a 50-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, 2-megapixel depth and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The rear camera supports up to 4K 30 fps recording, and the front camera supports FHD 30 fps recording. Check out some camera samples below.

The phone has a plastic back with a matte finish, so doesn’t attract fingerprints, but it is prone to scratches. The phone weighs 215 grams, and is 9.4mmthick since it packs a 6000mAh battery. The phone support for 25W fast charging, but it doesn’t come with a charger in the box. It also has reverse charging to charge other phones.

The phone starts at an introductory price of Rs. 17,999, and with Rs. 2000 instant discount with ICICI Bank Credit Cards, you can get it for Rs. 15,999 from Amazon.in and Samsung.in starting from April 8th.
