iQOO 9 Pro with 6.78-inch 2K 120Hz LTPO E5 AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 120W fast charging and iQOO 9 announced


iQOO has officially introduced iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro smartphones in China as it had announced. The iQOO 9 Pro has a 6.78-inch Quad HD+ Samsung E5 AMOLED curved screen with LTPO 2.0 technology, support for 10bit color, peak brightness of1500nit, variable refresh rate of 120Hz and 1000Hz touch sampling rate. The iQOO 9 has a 6.78-inch FHD+ Samsung E5 AMOLED flat screen with 120Hz refresh rate. Both the phones are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with large 3926mm² stacked waterfall VC three-dimensional heat dissipation system.

The iQOO 9 Pro features ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor with a large 578mm² area, so the efficiency is higher and faster than the optical fingerprint scanner.

Both the models feature a 4700mAh dual-cell battery with 120W ultra-fast flash charging that can charge up to 100% in 19 minutes, and the Pro model also has 50W wireless flash charging and 10W reverse charging. The 120W mini charger uses a new material gallium nitride, weighs just 35g, and supports PD3.0 and PPS protocols, and is convenient to carry.

The iQOO 9 comes in Black, Orange and Legendary colours and is priced at 3999 yuan (US$ 629 / Rs. 46,675 approx.) for 8GB + 256GB, 4399 yuan (US$ 692 / Rs. 51,415 approx.) for 12GB+256GB and 4799 yuan (US$ 755 / Rs. 56,090 approx.) for 12GB+512GB.

iQOO 9 Pro comes in Orange and Legendary colours and costs 4999 yuan (US$ 786 / Rs. 58,430 approx.) for 8GB + 256GB, 5499 yuan (US$ 865 / Rs. 64,195 approx.)  for 12GB+256GB and 5999 yuan (US$ 943 / Rs. 70,030 approx.)  for 12GB+512GB. Both the models are now available to order and will go on sale in China from January 12th.
