realme launched its Buds Air 2 TWS earbuds with ANC in Closer Black and Closer White colours earlier this year. Later it launched the Closer Gold colour variant of the earbuds, and it recently launched the Closer Green colour variant. This matches with the Neon Green realme GT Neo2 that was launched last month.

Other than the case and the earbuds that come in green, the box contents are the same, and it still has a yellow coloured USB Type-C cable. The outer box that you see in the header image is actually not green. It comes in the same yellow box with an additional green cover.
The round charging case has a green finish with realme branding in black colour. This has a matte finish, so it doesn’t attract fingerprints and smudges, unlike the black colour variant.
However, the paint might get chipped if you place it along with sharp objects like keychains.
Even the earbuds come in the same green colour, but has a two-tone finish. Only the stem part comes in green colour, and the buds part has a black colour that also has a matte finish. This gives a different look for the earbuds.
Below the microphone on the back, there is a touch-sensitive area on the outer surface, to control play/pause, open Google Assistant and attend or disconnect calls. The earphones also have IPX5 water resistance rating to prevent splash, rain, and sweat in everyday use scenarios.
The realme Buds Air 2 Closer Green version costs Rs. 3299, same as other colour variants. It is available from Flipkart and realme.com.
