iQOO has finally introduced its most expected iQOO 8 and the iQOO 8 Pro smartphones in China, as it had announced. The iQOO 8 features a 6.56-inch BOE FHD+ flat AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, in-display fingerprint scanner, as well as dual pressure sensing and dual X-axis linear motors. The iQOO 8 Pro is the first model to pack a Samsung E5 AMOLED panel, which is 6.78-inch size and has Quad HD+ resolution. It also has 120Hz refresh rate, support 10-bit color depth and DCI P3 color gamut. The Pro model has Qualcomm’s ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint solution, which has a larger recognition area, lets you unlock with wet hands, and can simultaneously recognize with fingers.
For the first time in the iQOO series these feature gimbal stabilization for the main camera. The iQOO 8 has a 48MP main camera, 13MP ultra-wide and a 13MP portrait camera, while the 8 Pro features a 50MP main camera, 48MP Ultra-wide and a 16MP portrait camera with OIS, and 2.5x zoom. These pack a 4,350mAh and 4,500mAh batteries, respectively, with 120W wired fast charging. The iQOO 8 Pro also comes with 50W wireless charging and 10W wireless reverse charging.

iQOO 8 comes in standard white, Black striped and Legendary Edition with BMW stripes, all with AG glass finish and is priced at 3799 yuan (US$ 585 / Rs. 43,545 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 4199 yuan (US$ 647 / Rs. 48,140 approx.) with 100 yuan discount for it in the first sale. It is available to order and will go on sale in China starting from August 24th.
iQOO 8 Pro comes in Track striped Black colour and Legendary BMW edition with a leather finish and is priced at 4999 yuan (US$ 7720 / Rs. 57,290 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 5499 yuan (US$ 847 / Rs. 63,020 approx.) and the top-end 12GB RAM with 512GB storage version costs 5999 yuan (US$ 925 / Rs. 68,760 approx.). It is available to order and will go on sale in China starting from August 26th.
