Update: LG Wing will go on sale again on Flipkart today, April 15th at 12 noon at a discounted rate of Rs. 29,999.
Earlier: A few days back, LG announced its decision to shut down the mobile phone business owing to continuous losses. As a result, LG Wing, a dual-display, swivel-smartphone which was launched at Rs. 69,990 in India will be available Rs. 29,999 during Flipkart Flagship Fest sale, with a massive price cut of Rs. 40,000. The sale starts on April 12th and ends on the 15th, but the LG phone will be available from tomorrow, April 13th.
Notably, Flipkart has listed a 1-year warranty and five-year service for LG Wing. This move from LG comes as an attempt to exhaust its inventory and stockpile properly before closing its mobile phone section. Previously, LG offered a similar discount for its LG G8X last year to clear the stock.
