Three Motorola Watches to be launched this year by July

Three new Moto-branded Wear OS manufactured by one of Motorola’s partners – eBuyNow, is expected to launch this year. In fact, the Moto 360, which was launched back in early 2020, was manufactured by the same Canadian company.

In a presentation showing off Motorola’s product roadmap this year, two new smartwatches – Moto G smartwatch scheduled for June and Moto Watch & One scheduled for July launch, which is a month later.

Notably, the Moto G, which resembles Moto 360, is expected to be either mid-range or low-end device. As we can see from the image, there are two buttons on the right side, and it lacks a rotating crown.

The other Moto Watch looks like an Apple-inspired device with a rectangular display with a single button. Furthermore, the Moto Watches is expected to come with Snapdragon Wear 4100 platform, since the company in its presentation has listed Qualcomm as one of its strategic partners.

On top of that, the presentation shows a 3rd-gen Moto 360 watch with a transparent back case, revealing the charging coils and other circuits. If everything goes according to the plan, the Moto smartwatches will compete directly against other WearOS devices like Fossil and others.

On the smartphone department, Motorola recently announced a new global strategic partnership with rugged smartphone maker, Bullitt group. Under the partnership, Bullitt group will license the “Motorola” brand and design, develop a ruggedised smartphone to be launched into the market.
