Realme Narzo 30A Unboxing and First Impressions


Realme launched the narzo 30A smartphone, successor of last year’s narzo 20A in India earlier this week. Here we have the unboxing and the first impressions of the narzo 30A, which has a 6.5-inch HD+ screen and is powered by Helio G85 SoC that was present in the narzo 20.

The Realme 5i has a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) 20:9 aspect ratio display with 269 PPI pixel density. The display is bright since it has up to 570 nits brightness (Sunlight Mode) and the colors are vibrant, but the content is not sharp since it is an HD+ screen.

The phone has a mini-drop when is seen in most budget realme phones. The usual set of proximity and ambient light sensors are present on the bezel near the 8-megapixel camera. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC with up to 4GB RAM and runs Android 10 with realme UI on top. The company  has confirmed that reame UI 2.0 based on Android 11 will be available soon.

The power button is present on the right along with volume rockers and dedicated SIM and microSD slots are present on the left and the loudspeaker grill, USB Type-C port, microphone and the 3.5mm audio jack are present on the bottom.

The phone has dual rear cameras that includes a 13-megapixel primary rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP B&W depth sensor. There is a fingerprint sensor below it and narzo, designed by realme logo. Check out some camera samples.

The phone has a plastic back with diagonal stripe design that doesn’t attract fingerprints. It packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 18W charging. The phone weighs about 207 grams since it has a huge battery.

The narzo 30A also comes in Laser Black colour, starts at Rs. 8999 and will be available from Flipkart and realme.com online as well as offline stores from March 5th.
