Google Pixel 5 with 6-inch FHD+ OLED 90Hz display and Pixel 4a 5G with 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 765G announced


Google just announced new Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G smartphones at its ‘Launch Night In’ event, as expected. The Pixel 5 comes with a 6-inch FHD+ OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, and the Pixel 4a 5G comes with a 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED display with 60Hz refresh rate. Both the smartphones are powered by Snapdragon 765G with 5G SA/NSA, come with Titan M Security chip, 12.2MP rear camera, OIS along with a 16MP 107° Ultra-wide secondary camera, and an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

There are camera features including Cinematic Pan, ultrasmooth panning that’s inspired by the equipment Hollywood directors use, Night Sight in Portrait Mode to capture Portraits even in extremely low light, Portrait Mode that lets you capture portraits that focus on your subject as the background fades into an artful blur, New editor in Google Photos to help you add studio-quality light to your portraits of people after capturing.

The smartphones feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Pixel 5 comes with a 100% recycled aluminum body, packs a 4000mAh battery with fast charging, Qi wireless charging and reverse charging. The Pixel 4a 5G features a soft touch polycarbonate unibody design and packs a 3800mAh battery with fast charging

The Google Pixel 5 comes in Just Black and Sorta Sage colours, is priced at $699 (Rs. 51,415 approx.) and will be available from October 15th in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Taiwan, United Kingdom and the United States.

The Google Pixel 4a comes in Just Black and Clearly White colours, is priced at $499 (Rs. 36,705 approx.) and will be available from October 15th in Japan and in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Taiwan, United Kingdom and United States in November. Google already confirmed that these phones will not be launched in India.
