Realme Narzo 10 Unboxing and First Impressions

Realme launched the realme Narzo  series smartphones in India earlier this week. The realme Narzo 10 was introduced in some countries as realme 6i. This is a slightly better version compared to the Narzo 10A with a MediaTek Helio G80 12nm SoC with 4GB RAM, better quad rear cameras and a new design. Here we the first impressions of the phone.

Box Contents

  • realme Narzo 10 4GB + 128GB version in That White color
  • 2-pin 18W fast charger (5V-2A / 9V-2A)
  • USB Type C Cable
  • SIM Ejector tool
  • Clear protective case
  • User Guide and Warranty information

The phone packs a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) 20:9 aspect ratio display with 269 PPI pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. The display is bright and the colors are vibrant, but the content is not sharp since it is an HD+ screen. The company is calling the notch as mini-drop, which it says is 30.9% smaller than the realme 3. The usual set of proximity and ambient light sensors are present on the bezel near the 16-megapixel camera. It is the first phone to be powered by new MediaTek Helio G80 12nm SoC with 4GB RAM and runs Android 10 with realme UI 1.0. It packs 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage.

The power button is present on the right, volume rockers and dedicated SIM and microSD slots are present on the left and the loudspeaker grill, USB Type-C port, microphone and the 3.5mm audio jack are present on the bottom.

The phone has quad rear cameras similar to most realme phones that includes a 48-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP 119° ultra-wide angle lens with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.25 aperture, 2MP B&W depth sensor and 2MP camera for 4cm macro with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture. There is a fingerprint sensor next to it.

It has a masterpiece design that uses rare spray coating process, and the company says that the phone has been polished hundreds of times. As a result, the back of the phone shows an advanced matte visual effect, with a delicate and comfortable finish and doesn’t attract fingerprint. The design is created by Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. Even though the design is good, it has a plastic body, so it doesn’t feel premium.

On the bottom part of the back there is a realme branding. The realme narzo 10 has a 5000mAh battery, similar to most of the mid-range realme phones, but this comes with 18W fast charging via USB Type-C and also supports reverse charging. It weighs about 195 grams since it has a huge battery.

The realme Narzo 10A also comes in That Green colours, is priced at Rs. 11,999 and will go on sale on Flipkart and realme.com starting from May 18th.
