The POCO X2 features a 6.67-inch (1080 × 2400 pixels) Full HD+ 20:9 aspect ratio LCD screen with 386 PPI and 84% NTSC color gamut. The display is bright under sunlight, thanks to the 500 nits brightness. The biggest highlight of the display is it’s 120Hz refresh rate, which POCO calls RealityFlow. The display has HDR support and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
It has 4.38mm dual-punch-hole screen that houses a 20-megapixel main and a 2-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots. There is an earpiece on the top, the usual set of proximity and ambient light sensors are present in the middle just below the earpiece.
Even though the phone has on-screen buttons and support for gestures, there is a small bezel below the screen. The display has 91% screen-to-body ratio, due to 4.25mm narrow bottom frame.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 730G 8nm Mobile Platform with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and has up to 256GB UFS2.1 storage. The storage can be expanded as POCO X2 has a MicroSD slot, but this is a hybrid slot and not a dedicated one. POCO X2 also features liquid cooling.
On the top, there is a secondary microphone and an Infrared sensor. On the bottom, there is a speaker grill, primary microphone, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack.
The power button and the volume rockers are present on the right side, Hybrid SIM slot is present on the left that accepts two nano-SIM cards or a nano-SIM and a microSD card.
The phone has a 3D glass back and features POCO branding. The back glass is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and also has P2i nano-coating to protect it from splashes.
The phone has quad rear cameras that include a 64MP primary rear camera with LED Flash, f/1.89 aperture Sony IMX686 sensor, 8MP 120° ultra-wide sensor with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensors with 1.75μm, f/2.4 aperture. It has EIS and 4K 30 fps video recording for all the cameras and 960 fps slo-mo recording.
Under the hood, there is a 4500 battery with support for 27 W fast charging, POCO has bundled 27W fast charger in the box. The company also provides a clear case inside the box which does a good job protecting the phone and covers camera bump as well.
The phone has solid build quality, but the back is prone to fingerprints so it is recommended to use the bundled case. POCO X2 is available in Phoenix Red, Matrix Purple, and Atlantis Blue colors and goes on sale on Flipkart.
