OnePlus 6 and 6T series will get OxygenOS 10.0 Android 10 update this month, coming to OnePlus 5 and 5T series next year


OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei at the OnePlus 7T series launch event in Europe confirmed that it will offer OxygenOS 10.0 based on Android 10 will roll out for both OnePlus 6 series and OnePlus 5 series phones. The company rolled out the update for OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro last month, but it is yet to roll out widely.

The OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T will get the beta update later this October and stable update from November, but OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T users will have to wait till Q2 2020. We should know more details about the exact roll out dates soon.

The OxygenOS 10.0 will add Brand new UI design, Enhanced location permissions for privacy, New customization feature in Settings allowing you to choose icon shapes to be displayed in the Quick Settings, Full Screen Gestures, inward swipes from the left or right edge of the screen to go back, bottom navigation bar to allow switching left or right for recent apps, New Game Space feature that will join all games in one place for easier access and better gaming experience, Intelligent info based on specific times, locations and events for Ambient Display, option to block spam by keywords for Message.
