The V17 Pro features a 6.39-inch (2400 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED FullView display with 91.65% screen-to-body ratio and narrow side bezels. Thanks to Super AMOLED display, the content is crisp and vibrant, and the support of 100% DCI-P3 color gamut offers accurate colors. The screen has Schott Xensation UP glass protection. It is powered by  Snapdragon 675 64-bit 11nm Mobile Platform, same as the predecessor and has 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, so the performance is smooth.

On the front there is a 32-megapixel pop-up front camera with f/2.0 aperture along with an  8-megapixel 105° ultra wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture that can also shoot portrait selfies, and also has ultra night mode, as well as LED flash for better low-light sensor. It runs Funtouch OS 9.1 based on Android 9.0 (Pie). Even though the UI looks attractive, and comes with Dark mode, it needs some time getting used to since the quick settings bar comes up from the bottom.

It has narrow bottom bezels and also has an in-display fingerprint scanner that is quick to unlock the phone in 0.48 seconds.

The power button and the volume rockers are present on the right side. On the left there is a smart key to launch the Google Assistant easily. On the bottom there is a SIM slot, microphone, USB Type-C Port and a  loudspeaker grill, while the 3.5mm audio jack and the primary microphone are present on the bottom. It doesn’t have an expansion slot, but has 128GB UFS 2.1 storage, which should be enough.

The glass back looks and feels premium and has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. You can also see the vivo branding on the bottom part of the back.

On the back there is a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.78 aperture, 1/2″ Sony IMX582 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, 6P lens, Dual LED flash, 8-megapixel 120° ultra wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture that can also shoot 2.5cm Super Macro, 13-megapixel Telephoto lens with f/2.5 aperture for 2x Optical zoom and 10x digital zoom and a 2-megapixel sensor for portrait shots. It has EIS, which works for 1080 30fps videos, and the phone has 4K 30fps video recording. It has a 4100mAh battery with Vivo’s 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging.

Priced at Rs. 29,990, the phone is available for pre-order from Flipkart and Amazon online as well as offline stores and will go on sale from September 27th.
