2019 Apple launch event – New iPhone models with revamped cameras, new iPad Pro, larger MacBook Pro and more expected


It is that time of the year when we see leaks and rumours of the upcoming Apple iPhone and in fact, multiple leaks and rumours have surfaced already. Apple is expected to launch new iPhone models next month and now reports suggest that the company is readying a clutch of new hardware including new iPad Pro model, larger MacBook Pro, Apple Watch Series 5 and more.

iPhone:

Apple will launch three new iPhone models as it has done each year since 2017 and “Pro” model of iPhone is expected and will be a successor to iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. Recent reports suggested that the new iPhones will sport triple camera system housed in a square camera bump. On similar lines, the new iPhones are said to feature an ultra-wide-angle lens to provide a wider field of view and the sensors are said to capture three images simultaneously and use new AI software to correct the combined picture automatically. The video recording capabilities are also said to been upgraded on the new iPhone models.

The phones are also said to include reverse wireless charging feature that is present in Android counterparts and is also said to come with a new multi-angle Face ID sensor. Other expected specifications and feature include an OLED screen, A13 processor, improved water resistance capability and more. We can also expect new antenna technology on the upcoming iPhone and iPad models.

The new iPhone models are not expected to come with 5G support and only the models launching in 2020 are said to come with 5G support.

iPad:

iPad Pro is expected to get a refresh with new A13 processors, upgraded camera system etc. Alongside, Apple is also expected to launch a low-end iPad with a 10.2-inch display.

MacBook:

Apple is expected to launch a new model of MacBook Pro with a screen over 16-inches diagonally and the bezels are said to be slimmer on the new model. It is to be seen if Apple would refresh other models too.

Watch Series 5:

Watch Series 5 is also expected alongside the new iPhones and assets of watchOS 6 beta revealed new Titanium and Ceramic variants of Apple Watch. The upcoming Apple Watch will sport OLED display from Japan Display Inc.(JDI).

Reports also suggest that Apple is working on new AirPods and new HomePods for as early as next year. We should know more details in the coming days.
