Bose Home Speaker 300 with 360-degree sound, Google Assistant and Alexa launched in India

Bose has launched Home Speaker 300 in India that joins the Home Speaker 500 that was launched last year.  It promises powerful bass and true 360-degree sound — unlike conventional smart speakers that deliver a narrow beam of audio based on what they’re facing, has an aluminum design, and is compatible with all other Bose smart speakers for multi-room listening.

It measures 6″ tall x 5.6″ wide x 4″ deep, work brilliantly alone and seamlessly together, combine size-defying audio performance with superior voice pick-up —and with the Google Assistant joining Amazon Alexa. In addition to both personal assistants, Bose smart speaker owners can use Apple AirPlay 2 for simple streaming from Apple devices. You can control it with your voice, the Bose Music app or 6 one-touch presets on top of the speaker. You can tap the mic-disable button to cut all power to the microphones at any time. You will still have access to all other features.

It has Bluetooth and WiFi support and comes with a light bar to indicate when the speaker is thinking, listening or speaking. A custom-designed six-microphone array delivers superior voice pickup, so the speaker will still hear you even when the music is playing loud.

The Bose Home Speaker 300 comes in Black and Silver colors, is priced at Rs. 26,900 and is available for pre-order from, and will go on sale from August 29th. It will be sold directly from Bose stores, Wholesale Trade Partners and online through
