IFA, which is the world’s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances is all set to take place at Berlin from 6th September to 11th September 2019. Many brands taking part in the event are expected to make new announcements. In similar lines, Qualcomm has also confirmed its keynote for IFA 2019.
According to Qualcomm, at IFA’s 2019 Keynote stage, Cristiano Amon who is the President of Qualcomm will introduce the new generation of mobile technology and will highlight how the commercialization of 5G will change the mobile industry and transform the global economy. The company is expected to announce mobile platforms, milestones related to 5G, and other intelligent connected devices.
Smartphone manufacturers are gradually launching devices with 5G support with Qualcomm’s X50 modem and also, there were reports that Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 865 SoC is said to come in two variants i.e., one with an integrated 5G modem(X55 5G modem) and another one with an external 5G modem.
