Sony WH-XB900N Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones launched in India for Rs. 16990


Sony has today launched its new WH-XB900N noise-canceling wireless headphones in India, joining its wide range portfolio of audio products. The wireless headphones feature digital noise cancellation, NFC, support for voice assistant, 30 hours of play time and more.

Sony WH-XB900N headphones come with a foldable design, one-color accent and cushioned ear pads. It measures 9.5 x 7.9 x 3.5 inches, weighs 254g and comes with a 1.2m length cable. The earphones feature a 40mm driver unit along with an impedance of 50 ohms and frequency response of 3Hz- 20,000Hz. It comes with Sony’s ‘EXTRA BASS’ along with a dedicated bass duct, increased air-tightness and this helps to create precise, punchy rhythms, according to the company.

It connects through Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and charges through a USB Type- C cable. There is digital noise cancellation feature, built-in microphone and also has the ‘Quick Attention’ function which upon touch on the right housing instantly reduces the volume enabling users to hear from ambient sounds. Other features include support for Google Voice Assistant and Alexa.

The in-built battery charges through USB Type-C port, takes 7 hours to charge and supports quick charging. It delivers 30 hours of play time and Sony claims that with just 10 minutes of charge, it can deliver 60 minutes of playback time.

The Sony WH-XB900N comes in Black and Blue colour options, is priced at Rs. 16,990 in India and will be available to buy major Sony retailers and e-commerce websites starting tomorrow, July 16th.
