Apple launches new MacBook Pro models with Octa-Core processor, redesigned keyboard in India starting at Rs. 1,59,900


Apple launched the 2018 MacBook Pros with 8th- gen Intel Core processors, up to 32GB RAM, True Tone display and more in India last year. It is almost close to a year since the launch of 2018 MacBook Pro and now, Apple has launched the 2019 MacBook Pro with faster 8th, 9th generation Intel Core processors, bringing eight cores to MacBook Pro for the first time.

The new MacBook Pro comes with a faster 8th, 9th generation Intel Core processors and also for the first time, Apple is bringing eight cores to MacBook Pro. Apple claims that MacBook Pro now delivers two times faster performance than a quad-core MacBook Pro and 40 percent more performance than a 6-core MacBook Pro.

The new 15-inch MacBook Pro comes with a faster 6-core and 8-core Intel Core processors with Turbo Boost speeds up to 5.0 GHz. It features a Retina display with 500 nits of brightness, support for the P3 wide color gamut and True Tone technology. The new MacBook Pro also comes with stereo speakers with wide-stereo sound, Touch ID, Touch Bar, and a large Force Touch trackpad. They ship with macOS Mojave and the other specifications include an SSD storage, the Apple T2 Security Chip and Thunderbolt 3 ports.

The new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar features faster quad-core processors with Turbo Boost speeds up to 4.7 GHz.

Apart from this, Apple has also tweaked the MacBook Pro design again and has announced an update to its keyboard repair program. All MacBooks with the butterfly keyboard will now be eligible for Apple’s Keyboard Service program. The company has also said that it has redesigned the butterfly keyboard with a new keyboard mechanism on the new MacBook Pro and the new keyboards will also be part of the repair program.

The new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar is priced at Rs. 1,59,900 and the new 15-inch MacBook Pro is priced at Rs. 1,99,900. They will be available through Apple Authorised Resellers later this week.
