Google rolls out dynamic email in Gmail to make it more useful and interactive [Update: Available for all users from July 2]

Update: June 12, 2019 — Google has announced that Dynamic email in Gmail will be available for everyone and will be on by default for all domains.

Earlier: In an attempt to change the traditional static email design, Google is coming up with dynamic email for Gmail, making it more useful and interactive like taking action directly from within the message itself, like RSVP to an event, fill out a questionnaire, browse a catalog or respond to a comment.

Dynamic email allows email senders to embed AMP into messages themselves, making them more actionable and updating them with the most current information.

Businesses have also already started using dynamic email to make their emails more actionable and relevant, like Booking.com, Despegar, Doodle, Ecwid, Freshworks, Nexxt, OYO Rooms, Pinterest and redBus.

Like the rest of Gmail, dynamic email is safeguarded by privacy and security protections. Dynamic emails will begin rolling out to Gmail users on the web today, while the mobile support will be rolled out in the future.

If you’re a G Suite customer, you will be able to enable dynamic email for your organisation in the Admin console in the next few days. Dynamic email in Gmail Beta is available as an opt-in to all G Suite customers. Admins can opt-in to the beta by going to the Admin console and navigating to Apps > G Suite > Settings for Gmail > User settings.
