Funcl W1 and Funcl AI True wireless headphones First Impressions


Funcl, a hardware startup introduced new Funcl W1 and Funcl AI True wireless headphones with Bluetooth 5.0 earlier this month, and these went on order on Indiegogo last week, and the company has already raised over $300k from over 8000 backers. We got hold of both these earbuds, and here are the first impressions.

The Funcl W1 true wireless headphones powered by is small, lightweight at just 4.4 grams and comes powered by Bluetooth 5.0. It has easy touch controls to answer/reject calls and the good audio quality is good as well. Since these come in white, they might get dirty easily. It comes with IPX5 ratings so that it can withstand sweat and light rain.

It promises up to 4.5-hour battery life, and with the case you get up to 18 hours of total battery life.

The Funcl AI is also powered by Bluetooth 5.0, but this features 60ms low latency connectivity when connected to aptX devices, best for mobile gamers. Its design reminds of Apple Airpods. It comes with elegant Black color and the design is eye catching. It also has touch controls and supports built-in voice assistant such as Google Assistant currently, while Amazon Alexa support will be added soon.

The headset offers up to 6.5 hours of battery life, and with the case, it will offer 3 extra charges to last up to 24 hours in total.

The Funcl W1 and Funcl AI are priced at $19 (Rs. 1,351 approx.) and $54 (Rs. 3,839 approx.), respectively and are available for order through Indiegogo, but our readers can get the Funcl AI at $49 (Rs. 3,484 approx.)
