LG V40 ThinQ with Penta cameras teased in official video

LG has released a new 30-second video teaser for the company’s upcoming flagship V40 ThinQ smartphone ahead of October 3 announcement. The phone will come with penta or five cameras that includes three rear cameras including standard, wide and telephoto lenses at the back and dual front cameras.

LG said that the phone will offer a soft feel since it uses sand-blast technology for the surface of the smartphone’s body, comes with reinforced glass to prevents scratches and also doesn’t attract fingerprints or dirt. “The matte color also adds to the charm not found in conventional tempered glass or metal.,” added LG.

The phone has a metal frame on the side, unlike the glass back this is treated with glitter to emphasize the solidity and aesthetics unique to the metal. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, below the cameras.

The LG V40 ThinQ will come in three colors – New Platinum Gray, Carmine Red and Morokan Blue colors. The new Carmine Red color gives the impression of elegance and depth by increasing the saturation than the existing Raspberry Rose color.

The phone will feature a large 6.4-inch screen, but it will have minimal bezels offering a comfortable grip for one-handed usage. It will also feature 2 ~ 3mm size illumination sensor and laser sensor beside the camera on the front and back, but these are hidden resulting in a clean and neat design. We should know more details when the phone goes official next week.
