Instagram adds ability to create Stories, save posts on its mobile website

Instagram Stories Mobile web

Instagram Stories came to mobile web back in September. Previously it was only possible to watch stories on the mobile web, now you’ll also be able to post stories from mobile web.

Similar to the mobile app, the mobile web also has a camera icon at the top left of your feed. You can tap it to take a photo or to add a photo from your library.  You can also add text and change the text color. Currently it doesn’t support video sharing and other tools like Boomerang, hands-free and other features. You can’t upload stories from desktop yet.

Last year Instagram app got option to save posts that you would like like to revisit later. Now the feature is available for mobile web as well. Similar to the app, yo can access all of your saved posts by tapping the bookmark icon in the top right corner of the page that are added to a folder for later viewing.

Both these features are now rolling out and should be available for everyone in the coming weeks.
