Uber finally makes it easier to see your rider rating

POOLRating

Uber is finally bringing improvements to its rating system. The ride -sharing service is making it easier for you to see your rider rating. With the latest update, your Uber rating will now appear right below your name. The latest move comes from Uber to make the riding experience more user friendly.

Ride ratings were already a part of Uber app, but they were buried somewhere inside the app. With this update, ratings will be displayed right under your name in the menu when head into ‘Settings’. In addition, Uber is also bringing a change to UberPOOL ratings and will now offer a number of options to help riders explain their star rating. Now, when riders rate a POOL trip less than 5 stars, they can select additional reasons why. And when the reason is something like the route or co-rider behavior, we won’t count the rating toward the driver’s average.

Uber India Spokesperson said in a statement,

We believe that honest feedback helps ensure that everyone is accountable for their behavior. This accountability creates a respectful, safe environment for both riders and drivers. With this in mind, we launched the rating system when we started the service back in 2009. Over the years, this two-way rating system has helped us maintain great quality standards. The updates to the rating system that we rolled out today will further help improve the overall ride experience for everyone. In line with this, we have also launched community guidelines to foster good behavior.

Last month, Uber rolled out Real-Time ID check feature that uses Microsoft Cognitive Services, which prompts drivers to share a selfie before going online to help ensure that the driver using the app matches the account that is there on Uber.
