Reliance Jio Money Merchant solution launched

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has announced Jio Money merchant solution that is aimed to enable digital transactions of all types ranging from small shops to restaurants. The solution is claimed to be available across millions of touchpoints in the country.

Users will be able to book train, bus tickets and even initiate person to person transfer with the help. Jio is aiming 10 million merchants across the country for this platform. Using this application, merchants can transfer money, accept payments. Aadhaar-based micro-ATMs will also be launched to help facilitate Jio Money. Starting 5th of December, every merchant can download the JioMoney Merchant Application. Using the JioMoney Merchant App, merchants can also make supplier payments, transfer money between his bank account and use digital petty cash.

Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited said,
