Google is rolling out an update for Pixel and Pixel XL in Canada which adds two new ways to wake up these smartphones The latest update will allow users to double tap and lift the phone to wake it up.
The OTA update 261MB and size and carries build number NPF26J and Android version 7.1. After updating the devices, you will have to head to Settings>Moves and enable “Double-tap to check phone” and “Lift to check phone”. The update is quite useful and is brings first set of features to Google’s Pixel smartphones since their launch. It is unclear when Google will release the features for US or international Pixel owners, but we can expect it some time soon.
