Skype for web now lets you chat, make voice and video calls without an account

Redmond giant Microsoft announced a new feature on Skype, where you can make calls or connect with anyone without creating any accounts. In case if you don’t have any account, you can join the Skype as ‘Guest’ and you can quick chat, video or voice call without any complications.

With this feature, users can enjoy one to one, group chat, voice/video calling, screen sharing and file sharing as well. Moreover, the user can invite up to 300 people for chatting and around 25 people for voice and video call. However, the conversation you had will last just for 24 hours.

In order to start the conversation

  • Head on to Skype.com and tap on Start Conversation and provide your details as well.
    Once it’s done, you will be provided with a link.
  • You can share the link to your friends and family, an individual or group through email or social network. They can join the conversation just by clicking the shared link.

In official blog post, Skype said:
