Moto Z with Moto Mods launching in India on October 4

Lenovo (Moto) just sent out invites for the launch of Moto Z smartphone along with Moto Mods in India. It was introduced back in June at the Lenovo Tech World 2016.

Update Sep 28: Motorola has sent out a new invite that shows several Mods, including Hasselblad True Zoom camera mod.



There are modular accessories Moto Mods for the Moto Z, which are like snap-on’s that get attached to 16 pins located at the bottom back of the smartphone. These Moto Mods include a Moto Insta-Share Projector, JBL SoundBoost, Moto Shells, and instant Power Pack.

The company introduced Hasselblad True Zoom Moto Mod with 10x optical zoom and Xenon flash at the IFA earlier this month.

The Moto Z unlocked version went on pre-order in the US for $699.99 (Rs. 46700 approx.) this week, so we can expected it to be priced in the range when it comes to India next month.
