YU Televentures today announced that it has appointed Shubhodip Pal as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). He was earlier involved as the Chief Marketing Officer of Micromax, the parent brand of YU and will be replacing Amarinder Dhaliwal. “In his new role, he will help build engaged communities and closely work with developer’s community and take YU to the next level of growth,” said the company.
Shubhadip Pal has over 19 years of consumer marketing experience in launching, building and managing brands from consumer durables to the banking/financial, IT hardware sector and telecom services sector. He began his career in 1997 with Samsung India Electronics and spent over nine years serving in different roles. In 2005, he moved to ABN AMRO as AVP and head, communications and sponsorships.
