Next gen Samsung Galaxy A5 will have a 720p screen

Samsung is planning to refresh its Galaxy A lineup of devices- namely the A3, A5 and A7. A new user agent profile leak suggests that the 2016 Samsung Galaxy A5 will retain the 720p resolution of its predecessor.

The UA profile doesn’t reveal anything else regarding the handset apart from the model number which is SM-A510M. The screen size of the handset if rumoured to be 5″ or 5.2″. It should be powered by an octa-core Exynos chipset and should come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

The rear camera is likely to be a 13 Megapixel unit and will have a 5 Megapixel front facing camera as well. The FCC has stated the battery capacity as 2900 mAH. The phone should run Android Lollipop 5.1.1 or later upon launch and will be the first A5 to come with a full metal body. There is likely to be an optional dualSIM variant as well.
