Xiaomi announced the Mi Note Pro in January and launched the phone in China earlier this month. We got you unboxing of the phone recently and here is the comparison of the phone with the Apple iPhone 6 Plus.
The Mi Note Pro sports a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection and is powered by a 64-bit Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU. Now running on MIUI on top of Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop), it has 4GB DDR4 RAM, 64GB of internal storage and LTE Cat.9 support. iPhone 6 Plus on the other hand sports a 5.5 inch Retina HD display screen (1920 x 1080 pixels) and is powered by a new Apple A8 chip.
There is Mi branding on the left, earpiece at the center and a 4MP front facing camera on the Mi Note Pro while the iPhone 6 Plus has 1.2MP front facing FaceTime camera with with 720p HD video recording.
The Mi Note Pro has three capacitive buttons below the display while the iPhone 6 Plus has the trademark physical home button.
The Mi Note Pro has a microphone and 3.5mm audio jack is present on the top while the iPhone 6 Plus has no keys or buttons there.
At the bottom the Mi Note Pro has micro USB port and loud speaker grills while the iPhone 6 Plus has 3.5mm audio jack and the Apple’s proprietary lightning connector along with the loudspeaker.
Mi Note Pro has a SIM card slot that has two trays for micro and nano SIM cards on the left. The iPhone 6 Plus on the other hand has volume rockers and the rotation lock switch.
The power button and volume rockers are present on the right side of the Mi Note Pro where the iPhone 6 Plus has power button and the nano SIM card slot. The Mi Note Pro is 6.95mm thick and weighs 161 grams while the iPhone 6 Plus is 7.1mm thick and weighs 172 grams.
The Mi Note Pro has a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, OIS, Sony IMX214 BSI sensor, 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording. In comparison the iPhone 6 Plus has 8MP rear iSight camera that can shoot Slo-Mo videos at 120 fps or 240fps and comes with OIS.
The Mi branding is present at the lower back of the Note Pro while the iPhone branding is present on the iPhone 6 Plus.
The Mi Note Pro has a plastic non-removable back cover while the iPhone 6 Plus has aluminium unibody design and have curved edges and the Apple logo is situated at the center. The Mi Note Pro has a 3090mAh battery and the iPhone 6 Plus has a 2915mAh battery.
