Vivo’s next flagship could be the camera-centric smartphone with a 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilization).

The smartphone is said to the successor of the original Vivo Xshot and might follow the odd number naming convention with additional ‘S’ letter making it the Vivo Xshot 3S, reported Russian blog Mobiltelefon.

The blog also posted two images of the alleged Xshot 3S smartphone along with the some purported specifications. Apart from a 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS, the Xshot 3S is said to pack an 8-megapixel front camera, a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of flash storage.

The Vivo Xshot 3S is expected to boast of 2.5D glass at the front and the back. The phone as seen from the image (see below) might include a camera-shutter button on the bottom right edge of the phone.

As yet the rumours suggest that the Vivo Xshot 3S will launch sometime next month along with another Xshot device – expected the Vivo Xshot 5 Pro, but there is no official word from Vivo as yet.
