Windows Phone 7 Details emerge ahead of MWC


There are fresh reports that Microsoft might unveil Windows Phone 7 at MWC 2010.  While we have been seeing a lot of rumors about the next version of Windows  Mobile , looks like it will be called Windows Phone 7.  Interesting features might include a new revamped UI , Full Zune integration and Full XBox Gaming integration.

What this site claims  is that all this information was sent by a Tipster and information might not be entirely official.

  • Microsoft is likely to show of the UI of Windows Phone 7 at Mobile World Congress 2010
  • Hardware  device details might not be revealed.
  • The User Interface will be  very similar to the Zune HD and is a complete revamp.
  • Applications will not support MultiTasking but will have Push Notifications.
  • Marketplace will support try and buy applications.
  • Windows 7 Phones expected to hit market in Sep 2010
  • There is full Zune and XBOX integration.
  • No support for OEM UIs (HTC sense  UI , SPB Mobile Shell etc.
  • Zune Software would be used for PC Sync.
  • Will support Silverlight.
  • No Flash support
  • Browsing is expected to be better than iPhone 3G (  Really ? we’d love to try it out )
  • Browser will be based upon desktop IE7 codebase with some IE8 functionality

Looks like Microsoft is trying to totally revamp its Mobile offerings to stay in the race as we told you before
