BlackBerry has launched the official IRCTC application for BlackBerry smartphones. This app will naturally let you book tickets, make PNR enquiries, check booking and cancellation histories and more, directly from your BlackBerry 10 smartphones. Last year IRCTC app was launched for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 devices developed in partnership with Microsoft.
Commenting on the new app, Annie Mathew, Director, Business Development and Alliance, BlackBerry India, said,
We are excited to bring the IRCTC application to BlackBerry World. With the increasing smartphone perpetration and the increasing dependence on mobile applications, it is a great opportunity for us to help our customers experience this app for an easy and streamlined train booking service.
The IRCTC app would be available for BlackBerry BB10 users from the BlackBerry World later today. BlackBerry is also running a contest that lets you stand a chance to win a BlackBerry 10 smartphone every week till 30th September 2014 by just downloading the app.
