Piriform, the creators of the popular system cleaning utility CCleaner for Windows and Mac has released the first version of the CCleaner Beta for Android, as it promised last month. The app has been released after months of research and development, along with a huge amount of user input, testing and feedback, says Piriform.
Features of CCleaner Beta for Android
- Optimize – Browser History, Application Cache, Clipboard and more
- Clean – Call Logs and SMS messages individually, in bulk, by age or by contact
- Reclaim storage space by quickly removing unwanted applications
- Monitor your CPU, RAM, storage space and battery levels
Piriform is currently working on bring more features, including
- Process management and RAM cleaning
- Custom folder cleaning
- Features for rooted devices
Since this is the first beta, it might not work on all Android devices. It is currently available for Beta testers, if you don’t want to test the early version of the app, you can probably wait for the final version, when it releases for all the Android users on Google Play.
