Micromax Canvas Duet 2 with 5.3-inch HD display, Dual SIM (GSM + CDMA) launching soon for Rs. 15790

Couple of months back Micromax and MTS partnered to launch the Micromax Canvas Blaze MT500 Dual SIM (CDMA+GSM) smartphone. The Micromax Canvas Duet 2 would be the company’s first smartphone in the Canvas series with dual SIM GSM and CDMA support. According to Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom, the smartphone would be priced at Rs. 15,790 and would go on sale later in a couple of days. Recently an unofficial Micromax blog leaked the retail box of the smartphone, which revealed the specifications of the smartphone.

The Canvas Duet 2 has a 5.27-inch HD display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 1GB of RAM and packs 2300 mAh battery.

The Micromax Canvas Duet 2 is expected to launch later this week. This might be the MOP of the device, and the phone is expected to launch at an MRP of Rs. 15,999.
