Having just unboxed the Motorola Moto G, the Indian retail version that supports two SIMs, we also got to try the new Moto G shells. We had ordered them separately from Flipkart, the normal coloured replacement shell for the back and the Flip shell that protects the back AND the front. But first, lets talk about the normal shell. We have got a bright lime yellow shell that looks dashing on the otherwise boring black Moto G we bought. Check how it looks, on video, skip past it for pictures and thoughts –

Our Moto G Review

The Moto G has a tight back cover, so it’s pretty hard to pry it open. But once we were done with the replacement, the Moto G looked way better than ever.

It looks pretty rad with the two tone black-green look on the sides. One more view of the sides –

Taking a closer look at the build quality of the case, we found it to be very similar to the original back case. Coming at Rs. 899/- it is a bit expensive, but we feel it is worth investing, as there will always be a back up cover in case the phone gets old, or the the case breaks(which is highly unlikely).

The soft touch finish is intact, and it is as original as it can get. So, if you are still planning to pick one up, it might be a good choice. This is the box it comes in, if you are wondering.
