Micromax Funbook Alpha launched for Rs. 5999


Micromax has launched Funbook Alpha (P250), their new tablet with a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display. It is powered by a 1 GHz processor with Dual Mali 400– the 2D/3D Graphics Processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). There are no hardware buttons in the tablet similar to the 10-inch Funbook Pro that was launched in July.

Other features are similar to the original Funbook including a 0.3MP VGA front facing camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory , expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD. The connectivity features include, 3G (via USB Dongle), WiFi b/g, USB 2.0, HDMI out. It has 2800 mAh battery that offers up to 5h of browsing time.

It comes in Grey color and is available from nCarry for Rs. 5,999. It would soon be available from retail stores across India.
