Corning Gorilla Glass 2 being introduced at CES

Corning , makers of the extremely popular toughened glass solution dubbed Gorilla Glass have teased that they will unveil the next generation of the technology at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Corning’s Gorilla Glass is a scratch resistant toughened glass solution which is used by a majority of smartphones but recently competitors with even better solutions have emerged. The company now plans to show case glass which will have offer greater protection while being thinner and lighter.
