History of Nokia
Have you ever wondered how Nokia was formed, what were it’s first phones, when were they launched, what they were called etc? Well here’s your chance to find out.
Some of the highlights in Nokia’s history include:
One of the world’s first handheld device in 1987. The 1011 which is Nokia’s 1st GSM phone, 1994 when Nokia launched it’s famous ringtone through the Nokia 2110. World’s first satellite call using a Nokia phone in 1994. The Snake game lauched in 1997 and then the world’s first WAP phone etc.

Here is a also picture showing the phones Nokia launched since 1982 till 2006 in a timeline picture. It also shows the model number, codenames, innovations of the devices when they were introduced.
