Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 gets a new update with Face unlock, camera improvements and more ahead of sale


Asus launched the  Zenfone Max Pro M1  smartphone last week, and the phone will be available for order in the country from tomorrow, May 3rd, exclusively on Flipkart starting at Rs. 10,999. Today the company has rolled out a new update to review units that brings Face recognition, improves gyroscope and audio as well as improvements to the camera and battery during standby. It also brings Android security patch for April, 2018. Check out the complete change log below.

  • Enable Face Recognition functionality
  • Improvement in the gyroscope functionality
  • Improvement in audio parameters
  • Improvement in the response speed of finger print sensor
  • Optimization in front as well as rear cameras such as color correction, HDR Algorithm, Low light photograph etc.
  • “ZenUI” will change to “ZenFone” on the system update screen
  • Optimization in the power consumption during standby
  • Security update from Google for the month of April

Asus said that it is continuously improving camera performance and features as well as battery life and overall performance, improvements and optimization.
