Blackberry is going to launch the Torch 9800 Smartphone running on the all new Blackberry OS 6 in India according to adverts in leading newspapers in India. We expect the price to be around Rs.30000 to 35000 . Check out the official photos of the Torch and the specs

    I mean really, RIM – You want to sell it at such exorbitant price !!!

    C’mon, on one end, you’ve all sorts of issues hanging on your head on account of decryption of data required by national security agencies & on other hand, you wish to charge huge premium for your devices…..Don’t know but your move makes “Little sense” to me.

    Anyhow, good luck with your strategy.

    PS: On a different note, Varun can plz confirm the initial response for this phone in US (Not Canada) & Europe, in case you aware !!!

    @ Manu: Relax- what do you expect?? You are getting so many features- so you obviously need to pay the price for it. Also, maybe you are not updated on the latest news on BB security. Read it!!

    How much do you think the top rated BB 9700 comes for?? or how much do you think the I-phone comes for??

    Get your facts right mate!!

    Guys, honestly – this is probably the only BB phone with such a large screen (with touch and qwerty as well) which none of the other BB’s offer. Most importantly with BB 6.0 Operating system.

    Pay for it and enjoy the experience. I am dying for it to be launched so I can pick it up!!
